Perseverance

Soph is being very persistent with her roller skating.  She falls every once in a while, but I can't believe how well she is doing on them.  When she sets her mind to something she can really make it happen.  Conversely, if she really sets her mind against doing something she will REALLY not do it.  We're working on perseverance in the areas that are not as fun:).

Our little sheep dog (we call her that because of her crazy bangs and hair) has learned to ride her bike a lot better.  We are trying to get her little legs strengthened.

Down On The Farm

We got to visit a farm with our homeschool group.  Sophia has said for a while that she has wanted to be a farmer when she gets older so this was a great opportunity to see what she thought of it all.  Turns out it's a "no go" on the whole farmer thing.  Both girls were a mess if any of the animals came close to them.  Sophia did like the kittens and cried when we couldn't take one home.  Near the end she got brave and walked a lama.  I got nervous because the lady said if you look them in the eyes they will take that as a challenge and try to fight you.  Yipes!  I am not built for the farm, either.

I almost caved in a brought one home after seeing how big she was smiling in this picture.

Roller Skating

We have been hanging out outside a lot lately.  Mike is doing yard word and the girls love to ride their scooters.  Sophia is learning how to roller skate and doing awesome.  They are three sizes to big, but she acts like it's no big deal.

Liv is super proud to be able to climb up onto "her spot" on the wall.
