Brush It Off

We were at the park the other day and some kid walked by Livvy and said, "You look yucky."  She looked at me confused and said, "He said I look yucky.  I not look yucky.  Why he say that.  I look pretty."  She then shrugged her shoulder and kept climbing. 

I hope she is always able to brush stuff like this off.

Soph flosses big kid style.  I love watching her wrap the floss around her fingers all by herself.

High Heels

Sophia: It's nice babies can't walk when they're first born.
Me: Oh, why?
Sophia: Because then the mommies can wear high heels to the hospital.
Me: Hmmmm, why would that matter?
Sophia: If they could walk, the mom might step on them....
Me: Oh, good point.

Maybe Next Sunday

Sophia:  I am at my wedding.  Thanks for coming.

Me:  Oh, how nice.  I like your dancing.

Sophia:  I am not going to get pregnant at my wedding.  I'll get pregnant later.  Maybe next Sunday.

Me:  Oh, interesting.

Sophia:  Right now my baby is just a little seed, but next Sunday it will grow. 

Me:  Hmmm.....

Pumpkin Patch

We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with some friends and had so much fun.  The girls ran themselves silly and had a great time.  I was glad to get one more year out of their pumpkin sweaters:).
