Sophia About Santa

Sophia: Mom, if Santa were real people would only get presents on their birthdays.   
Me:  Why is that?
Sophia: Because if you only get presents for being "good" at Christmas, no one would ever get presents because no one is good.

The BEST News

Liv:  Mommy, will I see you in heaven?
Me:  I know I will be there.  Will you?  Do you remember how it is people are able to go to heaven? 
Sophia: Mom, I will be there.  Did you know that I have confessed with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in my heart that God raised him from the dead?  I am saved.
Me:  That is amazing news!  When did that happen?
Sophia: A while ago in my bed. 
Me:  That is the best news I have ever heard! 

Official Roller Skater

Liv has been practicing her roller skating  for the last few weeks.  Soph has been a great coach and today all her hard work clicked.  She all of a sudden took off.  I loved the determination in her eyes.
