Feeding the Ducks

We went to the park with some friends the other day.  It was a beautiful day and all the kids got to feed the ducks.  What sweet friends we have.

Staycation

Mike and I got to go on a two day staycation with just the two of us and it was so fun!  Our first night we ate at Stacked. 


The next morning I got to do something I've always wanted to do.  There is a bike path that goes to the beach and I've always thought it would be so fun to bike on it.  We parked at Fiesta Island, biked to Mission Beach and had breakfast at The Mission.


It was delicious!


That night Mike got to pick what we did and he, of course, chose a baseball game.  We took the trolly downtown and then walked around Seaport Village afterwards.






The next morning we went to a very cute breakfast place and had a delicious breakfast.


Thanks Mom and Aunt Deb for watching the girls so we could have some time away!

Swinging

Soph recently learned how to pump and some of our friends gave her money for her birthday to get a swing of her own.  She often asks, "Mom, can I go outside and pump?"  I love watching her get herself high into the air as the sunshine reflects onto her hair and the wind blows it. 

Liv likes to swing next to her and her hair gets extra crazy. 

Sweet Soph

Soph is getting so big.  I love her questions and how sweet she is to other kids.  She asked me today how Rapunzel got into the tower when she was a baby since she didn't have long hair and no one could climb it without her hair.  Her mind is always thinking.  I love my big girl.
