Sweet Days

I came across these pictures of me and Mike.  We look so young!  Those were sweet days.

Liv

Mud

It's that time of year again!  We have been spending lots of time outside.  Sophia has been teaching Livvy the art of making mud or, as she calls it, "chocolate milk medicine with lettuce."  I love days that we spend tons of time outside being creative.  I'm so thankful I get to stay home and enjoy sunny days with my girls.

PJ's and Rain

Last week we had some really rainy days, so the girls went outside in their pajamas and had fun in the rain.  Sophia never lasts long when it's cold, but Livvy loved it.

Polka Dots and Shadows

23 Months

Livvy turned 23 months on the first.  Only one more month until my baby is TWO!  I can't believe it.  She has really grown-up this month.  She is talking in complete sentences and talks whenever she is awake.  Before we put her down for bed she always has to kiss both cheeks, our forehead, our chin, our nose and both ears.  After that she has to whisper, "I love you so much" in each of our ears.  It is the sweetest thing and I look forward to it every night.

Some how she learned all of her colors and how to count to 20.  I've taught her how to count to 10, but I have no idea where she learned to count to 20.  15 and 18 sometimes get left out.  She knows the first few verses of Psalm 23 and a bunch of other verses that she sings along with.  I love how she picks things up even when I don't think she is paying attention.

While she is very strong willed and independent, she is still very cuddly and loves to be held.  I probably hear, "Mama, hold you" about 20 times a day.  Good thing she isn't heavy.

Livvy loves to set a baby on my lap and get right down in her face, tickle it and make baby talk noises.  Such a ham.

I am not able to remember a lot of what she does right now, but if you get a chance, you should hang out with her.  She is pure entertainment.

We love our littlest girl!
